Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this hotel was an unforgettable experience filled with breathtaking views and warm hospitality. The garden is a lovely bonus, and the peaceful atmosphere was just what we needed to unwind. However, the inconsistent Wi-Fi and certain maintenance issues detracted from an otherwise perfect getaway. If you yearn for connection with nature and authentic Cretan culture, this place is a treasure, but be prepared for some quirks.
Staying at Akros Oreon was a truly delightful experience, surrounded by breathtaking views and the charm of nature. The tranquility of the location was a big plus, allowing for a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Though the facilities could use some improvement, especially regarding Wi-Fi and room cleaning, the highlights were definitely the stunning landscapes and friendly engagement with nature. Overall, it's a remarkable spot for those looking to escape and enjoy some authentic Cretan hospitality.
Nestled in the serene foothills of Mt. Dikte, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. The spacious stone studios provide breathtaking mountain views, making it ideal for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle. However, the limited internet access and the odd restrictions around the fireplace can be quite bothersome, especially during colder months.
Our stay at Akros Oreon was a delightful escape into the heart of nature. Surrounded by stunning mountain views and a peaceful environment, it felt like a true retreat. Giorgos and Anna are wonderful hosts, making us feel at home and serving up some of the freshest meals we’ve ever had. However, the remote location and unpaved road may not suit everyone, especially those looking for quick access to local attractions.
Staying at this hotel was quite an experience. The stunning views of the Dikti mountains and Kato Symi village were a highlight, making the tranquil atmosphere even more special. Our host Georgios was an absolute gem, sharing his knowledge about the area and participating in our cooking adventures. However, I did have a bit of trouble with the room amenities, as some weren't fully functional, and the occasional bug was a downside. Overall, it’s an excellent spot for nature lovers, particularly if you're prepared for some rustic charm.
